Question 1: Which airport
should I fly into to get to Ludlow, VT?
Most folks may consider
flying into Boston's
Logan International Airport. This would certainly be the most
convenient should you wish to include a few days stay in Boston and the
immediate environs. Ludlow, VT is about a 2-1/2 hour car or train
ride from Boston.
However, for those who
are coming direct for the wedding, we suggest you consider the airport
in Manchester,
NH. which is a modern and convenient airport only 2 hours drive to
Ludlow.
Although fewer airlines
fly to Burlington,
VT, this is another good alternate to Boston and Manchester.
Only 1-1/2 hours away from Ludlow. This is the closest airport
and would be a perfect point of arrival for folk wishing to enjoy the Green
Mountains
Question 2: Where should
I stay?
The bridal party
will be lodging at "The Castle" in Ludlow, VT. All 10 rooms at The
Castle have been reserved for the Bridal party only.
A block of 40 rooms have
been reserved at The Cavendish
Point Hotel which is immediately adjacent to The Castle and is the
most convenient for all the formal wedding activities. The
Cavendish is a 5 minute car ride from the center of Ludlow.
Twenty additional Rooms
have been reserved at the Ludlow
Colonial Motel which is owned by the Best Western Chain of Hotels.
This motel is in the center of Ludlow and walking distance from many conveniences.
Ten rooms are available
at the Okemo
Lantern Lodge, which is walking distance from the wedding. All
rooms have been reserved for our wedding. Please mention that you
will be staying for our wedding when booking your rooms.

web page.
Question 3: Where are
you Registered?
We are registered
at the following stores
Macy's
Williams
- Sonoma
Crate
and Barel
All registry items are accessable
on-line.
Question 4: What should I wear?
(What's the weather like?)
According to
NOAA's weather station in Cavendish, VT (which is right next to the site
of the ceremony, average temperatures for late September over the
last 20 years have been from a high in the mid 60s during the day to an
average low in the mid 40s after midnight, in the early morning hours.
Although the wedding reception
will be held with-in a climate controled tent, outside air temperatures
should linger in theupper 50s through most of the event. However,
the mountain air will may make it feel a bit crisper and a jacket or shawl
may come in handy.
The grounds of the Castle
are well manicured, so walking around in dress shoes should be no problem.
However, if you wish to take advantage of the many great activities in
the area, you should be sure to bring some good walking or hiking shoes.
Question 5: We've noticed that
the invitations says "Adult Reception to Follow" we have kids, what
should we do?
We hope all our
guest shall be able to attend, and we would love to see your kids over
the weekend. However, The Castle requires that all children under
the age of 12 mustbe supervised by an adult. The Castle also requires
that, if there are more than five (5) children under 12 years of age at
the ceremony and reception, that a child care provider must be hired.
We strongly request that
arangements be made to have them cared for during the reception. Several
options are available. Below is a list of child care providers available
to parents at any point during their stay in Vermont and particularly for
the time period of the wedding and reception.
Children can be cared
for either at the Cavaendish Pointe Hotel or at The Castle's Spa, both
are just a few steps away from The Castle, site of the ceremony and reception.
This will allow parents the opportunity to check-in on their kids as often
as they wish.
We also recommend that
several families may wish to share in the expense of the child care as
well as giving their child the opportunity to interact with the other children
who may be visiting us in Vermont. We can help put you in contact
with other families,
