The wedding will be in Ludlow, Vermont which is located in the scenic Okemo Valley of Vermont.  This area is well know for its various recreation opportunities and is a destination to many tourists through-out the year.  Because Vermont is particularly popular during the annual autumn changing of the leaves we strongly encourage our guests to make their reservations as early as possible. 

A wide variety of accommodation types are available.  However, we have reserved a block of forty rooms at the Cavendish Pointe Hotel which is located just next to, and walking distance from, "The Castle" which is where we will be getting married.  While the Cavendish is well situated for the wedding, we know some may prefer to be walking distance from the town center of Ludlow, which is approx. 5 minutes away from The Castle by car. 

We have also reserved 20 Rooms at the Ludlow Colonial Motel which is located right at the edge of "downtown" Ludlow and is walking distance to stores and restaurants in Ludlow.  It is also a 5 minute drive to the wedding/ reception site. 

For your convenience, we have provided information on various accommodations.  If you book a reservation at either the Cavendish or the Ludlow Colonial, please be sure to mention our names to be guaranteed the rates we've listed below.  A 9% Vermont room tax has not been included in the prices listed below.  Also, if you have specific questions about accommodations in the Okemo Valley, please contact us and we will try to find some answers.

Situated next door to "The Castle" (the site of our wedding and reception) this hotel is the closest accommodation to the wedding.  The Cavendish Pointe Hotel provides cable television, full-sized baths, handicap accessible rooms, cribs for infants and some rooms have in-room refrigerators.  Three Diamond rated by AAA, the Cavendish offers AAA and AARP discounts.

24 Rooms, all with refrigerators (2 suites w/ kitchens.) Private balconies with views of Okemo Mountain.  A 2 Bedroom house.  Cable television, refrigerators and in-room coffee makers.  Hot tub atrium room.  1 mile south of Ludlow town center.

A stylish, romantic Victorian country house with nine guest rooms, each with its own antiques. All guest rooms have private baths.  Common Rooms include a spacious foyer with fireplace and a whispering alcove, a living room with an ornate slate fireplace, Dining and breakfast rooms, and a den with full beverage service. There's a porch w/ rockers All room rates include afternoon tea and full breakfast for two.

It is not unusual for a family (or group) to request the entire third floor (rooms 9, 10 , 11, and the third floor common area).   This arrangement   enables the group to make use of the daybed in the common area, as well as the TV, VCR, and refridgerator.   The rate for the entire third floor is ranges between $349 and $399 per night (base occupancy of six).   Rates foradditional occupants apply.  Included in your room rate is a continental breakfast buffet each morning and hors d'oeuvres each afternoon.
